Hello Jamie and Kade,

I have meant to do this for a long time and there has been a lot of Life and Death in between.

This was the cake that you made on behalf of me for my Friends from London to celebrate their garden party wedding. One is a Unicorn called Them and the Other said: “Just go as queer as you like”. And thank you for such a Drag Queen Child of a Cake! It was incredibly well received as a gesture or painting of these two but it was more adored for being delicious. Often things that look this extravagant don’t taste so, and this cake truly did taste as extravagant as it’s costume!

I recommend The Cake Eating Company for their artistry in so very many directions but also for their everyday deliciousness…whenever I need to look after folk in my home, a box of gorgeousness, or a casual cake, is as wow-full as a tower. This Company do not spare the horses and we are lucky to have them here in Christchurch.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to you and the very talented bakers! I was so nervous ordering a cake without seeing or tasting it but the cake exceeded my expectations!

Everyone (even those weird people who don't like cake) was raving about how good it tasted! Everything about my experience with The Cake Eating Co was fantastic! Which also includes pickup.

Just wanted to say a huge fa’afetai lava – thank you for organising the birthday cake for my son’s 40^th birthday and delivery to 5^th Street restaurant. We FaceTimed the family last night when the cake was taken through and sang happy birthday from Melbourne and watched with envy as they dug into the cake. The family said that the cake was amazing and I’m to send the details to my daughter-in-law who will definitely be using you guys.

It was a very emotional time for all of us as we couldn’t be there to celebrate with him but thank you so much for the beautiful cake. It looked amazing and according to the family tasted “gorgeous”.

We have just returned from honeymoon yesterday so getting around to sharing some photos and sending thank you messages. But wow! It was incredible! You did such a beautiful job and I was blown away!!!!!!!! We didn’t get to eat any on the night but we took a container of pieces away on honeymoon.. only to leave in the fridge if the first motel.. I WAS DEVASTATED! However we have a whole tier and a half waiting in my brothers freezer for us to have and share when we collect it on the weekend - I can’t wait!!!

We are so happy with how the dessert table turned out, it looked so great! A true work of art and happy to report it tasted as good as it looked. I knew it was going to be great but even I was blown away with how beautiful it was, and how much detail had gone into every single item on the table. Our guests raved about how yummy everything was, and at the end of the night we only had a few left over cookies and and bits of chocolate which were demolished at brunch the next day.

Being from France, I was really attached to our Piece Montee tradition, so they made us an AMAZING croquembouche cake, that was to die for!
